Texting Campaign Registration – Update February 2025

UPDATED FEBRUARY 10, 2025

This article discusses text campaign registration. To learn more about this issue, please read our Texting Campaign Registration article.

Since 2021, all text messaging campaigns running on mobile carrier networks must be approved by third-party partners called aggregators. The aggregators ensure the campaigns meet the requirements of the CTIA’s Messaging Best Practices as well carrier-specific requirements.

In 2024, the aggregators announced that all text message campaigns must be registered and approved by February 1, 2025 or the campaign will not be allowed to run on the network.  Enforcement of this requirement began on February 4, 2025.

RingRx suggests that all customers who engage in texting and have not filled out campaign registration do so as soon as possible. Our partners review each application prior to approval and there are some requirements that customers may have to complete prior to approval. You can complete registration within your RingRx portal, here.
