At RingRx, security is our top priority. That’s why all data in RingRx Video is encrypted on numerous levels, both in transit and at rest.
Whether you’re conducting a video meeting on a web browser, through a smartphone app or via meeting room hardware, your data is not only secure but also compliant with security standards from the Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF) for Secure Real-time Transport Protocol (SRTP) and Datagram Transport Layer Security (DTLS).
What does that mean? When a meeting is set up, an exclusive encryption key is created for each user and his or her meeting and then transmitted in a secured and encrypted remote procedure call. It is not stored on any disk and is not viable once the meeting ends.
Developed and maintained by our dedicated security and privacy professionals, RingRx Video provides a host of features and capabilities, from built-in platform protections and a global-private network to elastic, on-demand scalability, even in periods of peak demand. The entire RingRx platform is always encrypted to support your requirements for compliance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).
HIPAA is a federal law that required the creation of national standards to protect sensitive patient health information from being disclosed without the patient’s consent or knowledge. The US Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) issued the HIPAA Privacy Rule to implement the requirements of HIPAA.
RingRx Video also includes strong validation against standards for System and Organization Controls (SOC). It’s part of our strict and detailed process for managing our users’ data and resolving any potential incidents in the unlikely event they occur.
Secure data is an essential part of your daily operations and that of your customers. Let us show you our full and clear commitment to ensuring all your data is safe with us.
