Mobile App Maintenance June 12, 2024

As part of RingRx’s ongoing commitment to improve features and services, we will be performing maintenance on the mobile app on [[Wednesday June 12, 2024 between 8:00PM and 10:00pm Pacific Standard Time.]]

Your mobile app and RingRx service will be fully functional during the maintenance window.  However, after the maintenance you may lose push notifications to the mobile app.  All other RingRx services including your phone number, inbound and outbound calling, texting, faxing, voicemail, menus, deskphones, and our softphone will not be impacted.

In order to restore push notifications, you will need to reset the app.  To reset the app, simply do the following:

  • Tap Keypad
  • Tap Settings in the upper right
  • Tap Reset Application – this will log you out of the app
  • Tap the app icon to get to the login screen
  • Log in using your email address and password. If you have trouble logging in
    • Reset your password by going here
    • Entering your RingRx email address, click “Send me reset password instructions”
    • Check your email
    • Click the link to reset your password
    • Follow the instructions to reset your password

During this brief maintenance period if you are concerned about not being able to make or receive calls, you may use the RingRx Softphone, which is available in our user portal. The softphone will not be affected by this maintenance. To learn more about the softphone, please visit https://support.ringrx.com/knowledge-base/softphone/

This is a routine maintenance issue to resolve backend file structures.  There are no feature changes, fixes, or design changes part this maintenance.
