As part of the Text Campaign Registry’s goal of ensuring your customers understand the nature of your messaging campaigns, they want to make sure you have the appropriate policies in place to protect the privacy of individuals providing their mobile number to. These policies should be outlined in your existing Privacy Policy you have on your website. If you do not have a Privacy Policy on your website, you will need to create one. If you already have a Privacy Policy, you can incorporate the language into your existing document. The placement of this policy should be clear and readily accessible. They should also be linked right from the form they enter their phone number to and the form should require a clear action that they accepted those terms.
